Table of Contents
What is RestoFinisher?
RestoFinisher claims to penetrate faded lacquer, shellac, and varnish finishes to restore your wood furniture’s original color and luster. It restores grain depth in wood finishes, going much deeper than temporary’scratch cover’ products.
RestoFinisher claims to penetrate and restores most wood finishes permanently without removing any of the existing finish. Cabinets, tables, flooring, and so much more!
It is a one-of-a-kind wood finisher for restoring wood furniture and blending out minor scratches, blemishes, and abrasions.
Most wood surfaces can be restored in a few minutes with a simple wipe-on, wipe-off process.
It applies easily and dries quickly. Wood is restored without destroying existing finishes.
It is non-toxic and odorless.
How Does RestoFinisher Work?
With RestoFinisher, anyone can become a master restorer. Simply spray, wipe, and dry! You’ll be surprised at how much money you can save by restoring your wood surfaces yourself rather than hiring a “professional.”
The Ultimate Restorer
With this simple wipe-on, wipe-off method, white heat rings and water marks, sun fade, oxidation, smoke damage, and most other blemishes can be quickly blended away.
What are the Benefits of RestoFinisher?
1. Product Quality is acceptable
RestoFinisher’s product quality is satisfactory. It’s well-designed and serves its purpose well. Some customers may, however, receive defective products from them. As a result, I would recommend that RestoFinisher inspect the products before shipping them to customers. Customers are less likely to receive subpar or defective products as a result of this.
2. Customer Service is Available
Shopping in stores that provide poor customer service is extremely inconvenient. As a result, it’s critical to shop at stores that at the very least provide a phone number and an email address for after-sales service.
RestoFinisher’s customer service is adequate but not exceptional. You may contact them if you have any questions or concerns about your order, but it may take more than 48 hours to receive a response. This is not ideal, especially in some emergency situations.
3. RestoFinisher meets the product description
Many stores use exaggerated marketing tactics in their advertisements to increase sales. This does not always imply that the product is a scam.
RestoFinisher’s advertisements are quite impressive and can catch the attention of customers. Some may believe they are overhyped. However, you cannot conclude that it is a scam because RestoFinisher does, to some extent, deliver on its promises.
4. Door-to-door Delivery
Many people prefer to shop online because it saves them time. Simply place an order and wait for the product to arrive. You are not required to drive to a physical store to obtain the product.
RestoFinisher is an online retailer that offers door-to-door delivery. Even if you live in a remote location, you can still purchase from RestoFinisher.
5. Easy to Place an Order
RestoFinisher’s website design is appealing. It is very simple for people to place an order. Simply click the “add to cart” button and proceed to the payment page with your credit card. Unlike a physical store, RestoFinisher’s website accepts orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
RestoFinisher Cons and Complaints
1. RestoFinisher is Overpriced
RestoFinisher is not inexpensive. Many people complain that it is too expensive. Because the quality of RestoFinisher is not superior to that of other similar products, the higher price is not justified.
You will be able to find a similar or identical product at a lower cost elsewhere. Let me tell you where at the end of this RestoFinisher review.
2. Inefficient logistics
RestoFinisher is a small company with insufficient capital to invest in logistics. They are forced to rely on inefficient third-party logistics. They have minimal control over the shipping speed.
Therefore, you may see a lot of customer complaints about their slow delivery. If you want fast shipping, go with a large marketplace like Amazon. Unlike RestoFinisher, Amazon can ship products in a matter of days.
3. RestoFinisher Has Few Positive Reviews
I looked for positive RestoFinisher reviews but came up empty-handed. While the product is excellent, customers may be dissatisfied with their service.
Because RestoFinisher is a small company, you should not expect them to provide world-class service. It is preferable to purchase from a large marketplace such as Amazon if you want to ensure good after-sales service. There is much better customer protection there.
4. RestoFinisher does not offer unconditional refunds
RestoFinisher does not always issue refunds to customers. Although there is a refund policy, RestoFinisher has complete discretion over whether or not to issue refunds.
Some customers may find it unjust. However, this is a disadvantage when purchasing from an independent online store. Personally, I prefer purchasing from marketplaces such as Amazon, where the refund policy is reasonable. When requesting a refund, you will have Amazon’s backup.
5. Difficult to Return the Product
If you don’t like RestoFinisher, it’s difficult to return it to them. You would be responsible for the shipping costs.
That is why I dislike shopping at independent stores. If you want to avoid this problem, I recommend purchasing from Amazon. If you don’t like the product, you can easily return it. Later, I’ll tell you where you can get a similar or identical product to RestoFinisher on Amazon.
Is RestoFinisher a Scam?
I cannot say RestoFinisher is a scam for legal reasons. I researched them thoroughly, including their social media pages, review sites, forums, and so on. And while I see nothing suspicious about their business, I cannot find any verified positive reviews.
If RestoFinisher is a genuine and well-established company offering high-quality products, you should be able to find numerous positive customer reviews about them online.
But, strangely, I can’t find any. This could be due to the company’s service quality rather than its product quality. As a result, I have less faith in them. That’s why I looked for a similar or identical product on Amazon for you. Let me elaborate later.
How to Contact RestoFinisher’s Customer Service?
RestoFinisher does not have great customer service. It may take more than 48 hours to get a response from them. Here are the contact details:

RestoFinisher Reviews: Final Verdict
RestoFinisher is a fantastic product that delivers on the promises made in their advertisements. However, I would not recommend purchasing from them. Instead, you can find a similar or identical product on Amazon.
Because RestoFinisher is a small company, I am hesitant to purchase from them. Personally, I always try to find an alternative on Amazon. Every time, I can find a similar or better one at a lower price on Amazon. In the following section, I’ll tell you where you can get it on Amazon.
Where to Get the Best Alternative of RestoFinisher?
If you’d like to get the best alternative for RestoFinisher, you might go to Amazon.
I just found a very similar product on Amazon that can produce the same or even better results. It is also more reasonably priced!
That’s why I bought one from Amazon, and I don’t regret it because of the excellent customer service and quick delivery.
You should look into it so that you don’t regret it later.
This company is a scam. I ordered the product over a month ago. They provided a bogus UPS tracking number.
Restor-A-Finish penetrates and permanently restores most wood finishes without removing any of the existing finish - this is why it is very popular for antiques. Restor-A-Finish maintains the original "patina" of an antique finish, maintaining its character and value as an antique.

Bottom line, this product is like plastic surgery for furniture. It won't return your piece to the flawless finish of its youth but it will take 10 years off, and at $12 bucks a can, that's a pretty good price for a quick facelift.
How long should I let the Restor-A-Finish dry before applying Feed-N-Wax? Wait at least 30 minutes before applying a coat of Feed-N-Wax. Remember to always wipe Restor-A-Finish dry and to test in an inconspicuous spot to make sure you like what it does.
Using Restor-a-Finish is really easy. I wiped down the cabinets to remove dust and surface grime, applied the RAF as directed and went back over any rough areas with 0000 steel wool. It took about 45 minutes for the whole vanity and looked pretty good. Then the next morning, it looked fabulous.
The wood surface should be free from heavy dust, grime, grease and dirt before using Restor-A-Finish. Most of the time, you do not need to pre-clean before using Restor-A-Finish. If the wood surface is really dirty, you can use a soft cloth and either Orange or Lemon Oil or Howard Clean-A-Finish before restoring.

Condition and Restore Wood
Coconut oil makes a high-quality conditioner for wood—keeping it supple, preventing warping, and minimizing the effects of daily use. First, clean the wooden surface with a damp towel or dust cloth, then rub a small amount of oil into the surface using circular motions and a clean cloth.
Murphy® Oil Soap gets deep into grime to break up dirt particles and it's safe to use on wood products like cabinets.
It still is the only product on the market that will restore the stain on your cabinets without removing the varnish. Apply Restor-A-Finish to the cabinet doors with a soft cloth and wipe in one direction. Any discoloration will be blended away, and a restored color will be left.
Restor-A-Finish is designed to restore the finish back to its original color, not to darken or change the color of the finish.

On new floors, with high gloss finishes, use Restor-A-Shine Polishing Compound. Restor-A-Shine can be used to buff out small scratches and dull marks in the finish. Then it's recommended you use Citrus-Shield Premium Paste Wax to protect and polish your wood's finish.
